Mahila Ashram, founded on November 14, 1944, by Lok Nayak Shri Manikya Lal Ji Verma, the first Prime Minister of United Rajasthan, and Maa Narayani Devi Verma, is dedicated to advancing women’s education. Under the leadership of Mrs. Sushila Devi Mathur and Shri Shiv Charan Mathur, the institute has grown significantly. In 2003, Mahila Ashram established Smt. Sushila Devi Mathur Post Graduate Girl’s College to offer quality education in Science, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Biotechnology and Information Technology.
